OVERVIEW

St. Timothy’s School in Stevenson, MD offers the perfect setting for field hockey training. With top-notch facilities and a dynamic environment, the school provides an ideal space for players to improve their skills. This summer, join us for a fun and rewarding camp experience focused on enhancing your field hockey abilities.

The camp is open to all ages and ability levels. Each participant will be assessed and grouped with others of a similar age and skill level. Adjustments to groups may be made throughout the week to ensure campers have the opportunity to train with and compete against different players. Through a mix of drills, games, and scrimmages, each camper will have the chance to learn, improve, and enjoy field hockey in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Maggie Waxter is currently serving as Director of college counseling and field hockey coach at St. Timothy’s school in Stevenson, MD. Through her work in her previous roles, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to assist our students in navigating this increasingly challenging process. Ms. Waxter served in administrative positions at Franklin Road Academy in Oak Hill, Tennessee and at Amherst College in Massachusetts where she coached lacrosse and field hockey. In both positions she held responsibilities involving admissions and recruiting.
Ms. Waxter graduated from Washington & Lee in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, she was a four-year member of the lacrosse and field hockey teams and served as a captain for both sports during her senior year. On the lacrosse field she senior captained the first program appearance in the NCAA Final 4, starting every game her junior and senior year. On the field hockey field she was named a third team All-American her senior year, and offensive player of the year in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. After Washington and Lee, Ms. Waxter coached at Amherst College in both the field hockey and lacrosse programs. As an assistant coach she helped the field hockey team to two Little Three Championships, and in lacrosse two NCAA Elite 8 finishes.
Most recently Ms. Waxter has been at Franklin Road Academy serving as Assistant Athletic Director of Communications and Student Athletic Advancement and head of the lacrosse program. Under her guidance the team has gone from a club team to a varsity level team competing at a high level.

At Revolution Field Hockey Camps you’ll receive personalized field hockey training through an exceptional curriculum, tailored to all age groups and skill levels. Our goal is to help players of all abilities enhance every aspect of their game. Our camps emphasize individual skill development while incorporating drills and scrimmages to foster teamwork and strategy.

Key features of our field hockey staff include: Low camper-to-coach ratios; groups organized by age and skill level and a fun, energetic, and experienced coaching team.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT

Full Day Campers: Check in at 8:45am each day starting on Monday. Campers should be picked up at 3:00pm each day ending on Thursday. Campers should bring a packed lunch and plenty of liquids.

Half Day Campers: Check in at 8:45am each starting on Monday. Campers should be picked up at Noon each day ending on Thursday. Campers should bring a snack and plenty of liquids.

What to Bring to Camp

Below is a suggested list of items to bring to camp. We recommend that campers avoid bringing expensive personal items such as cell phones or laptops. Campers are permitted to bring cell phones to camp for contacting their guardians, but phones are not allowed on the field during training sessions. Please make sure to label all items you bring to camp. All personal belongings are the responsibility of the camper. Revolution Field Hockey and its camp staff are not responsible for lost, stolen, or forgotten items.
