Samantha KeatingMeredith College Head Coach

Samantha Keating was hired as the field hockey assistant coach in August of 2022.

Keating played at York College of Pennsylvania from 2016-2020, where she was recognized as a scholar of distinction. Throughout her career in the York program, she finished in the top 5 in program history for goals-against average (1.72) and shutouts (7). In 2021, after multiple CAC Defensive player of the weeks and a Synapse Sports Division III Defensive player of the week acknowledgment, she achieved a top 10 ranking for career saves which earned her a place on the program’s All-Decade team.

Sam began her coaching career in high school, offering private lessons to goalkeepers before joining the Atlantic Storm Chasers Field Hockey Club. Since then she has coached for an additional two clubs across Pennsylvania and Maryland.

After graduating from College, she was the assistant coach at West York High School in York, PA in 2020 before accepting an offer as the assistant coach at St. Mary’s College of Maryland.
