OVERVIEW
Memorial Stadium in Portland, ME offers the ideal setting for field hockey training, with its outstanding facilities and atmosphere. This summer, join us for an exciting and dynamic camp experience in Portland, where you’ll receive expert coaching and the chance to enhance your abilities, alongside the Bowdoin College Assistant Coach.
The camp is open to all ages and ability levels. Each participant will be assessed and grouped with others of a similar age and skill level. Adjustments to groups may be made throughout the week to ensure campers have the opportunity to train with and compete against different players. Through a mix of drills, games, and scrimmages, each camper will have the chance to learn, improve, and enjoy field hockey in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Camp Director
Katherine Bowie brings a wealth of experience and a passion for player development to the field hockey community. A 2015 graduate of Division 1 Siena College, Katherine has coached at every level of the game; collegiate, high school, and club, giving her a well-rounded and athlete centered approach to coaching.
Most recently, Katherine served as an assistant coach at the University of Pennsylvania, working with a Division 1 student-athletes in a highly competitive environment. Her previous roles include head field hockey coach at Wilkes University, assistant coach at Bates College, and associate athletics director and field hockey program director at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School. Across these positions, she has been deeply involved in skill development, team culture, and long-term athlete growth.
In addition to her school and college coaching experience, Katherine has held leadership roles within club field hockey, including Coaching & Curriculum Director at Coastal Field Hockey. She has also previously directed Revolution Field Hockey Camps in the past. These roles reflect her commitment to building strong instructional foundations and creating positive, challenging environments for players of all ages and abilities.
Katherine’s coaching philosophy emphasizes technical development, game understanding, confidence, and love for the sport. Whether working with beginners or advanced athletes, she is dedicated to helping each player reach their potential while fostering a supportive and competitive atmosphere.

At Revolution Field Hockey Camps you’ll receive personalized field hockey training through an exceptional curriculum, tailored to all age groups and skill levels. Our goal is to help players of all abilities enhance every aspect of their game. Our camps emphasize individual skill development while incorporating drills and scrimmages to foster teamwork and strategy.
Key features of our field hockey staff include: Low camper-to-coach ratios; groups organized by age and skill level and a fun, energetic, and experienced coaching team.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT
Half Day Campers: Check in at 8:15am ready to play at 8:30am. Campers should be picked up at Noon each day. All Campers are encouraged to bring a snack and liquids each day.

What to Bring to Camp
Below is a suggested list of items to bring to camp. We recommend that campers avoid bringing expensive personal items such as cell phones or laptops. Campers are permitted to bring cell phones to camp for contacting their guardians, but phones are not allowed on the field during training sessions. Please make sure to label all items you bring to camp. All personal belongings are the responsibility of the camper. Revolution Field Hockey and its camp staff are not responsible for lost, stolen, or forgotten items.
