OVERVIEW
Gould Academy is located in Eastern Maine in the small town of Bethel. Gould’s state-of-the-art facilities provide the perfect environment for campers to develop their skills. This summer, join us for a fun camp experience that focuses on improving your field hockey skills, alongside local Assistant Coach from Bowdoin College.
The camp is open to all ages and ability levels. Each participant will be assessed and grouped with others of a similar age and skill level. Adjustments to groups may be made throughout the week to ensure campers have the opportunity to train with and compete against different players. Through a mix of drills, games, and scrimmages, each camper will have the chance to learn, improve, and enjoy field hockey in a supportive and dynamic environment.

A veteran goaltending coach with a wealth of collegiate experience, Erdody led Rhodes to a 14-4 campaign in her season at the helm in 2023. She served as assistant coach at Rhodes the prior two seasons, when the Lynx posted a 23-9 combined mark. Prior to Rhodes, Erdody coached the Summit Field Hockey club (N.H.) and as an assistant coach at Southern New Hampshire (2018-19) and Wilkes (Pa.) University (2017-18).
A goaltender in her collegiate playing days, Erdody played Division I field hockey for the University of Albany before transferring to UMass Lowell where she earned a B.A. in Communications. She also owns a M.S. in Education from Southwestern (Texas) University.

CAMP REVIEWS
“This camp was unforgettable! The dorms were comfy, the meals were great, and the training has really sharpened my skills. I made so many friends and I can’t wait to go again next summer!”
Winnie M.
“It was so amazing to see my daughter become confident in herself and break through her nervous tendencies. She was very reserved and quiet before this camp, and when she came home she was a different person and we could even see that through her gameplay in the summer. She said that the coaches all helped her 1 on 1, gave her tips and tricks throughout the day to help her with her skills, and even said the meals were amazing. Cannot wait to send her back to this camp next year!”
Jake F.
“Great camp, great coaches, great dorms, great food, and lots of field hockey! See you next year Coach Averill!”
