OVERVIEW
Moravian University is located north of Philadelphia and is one of many successful NCAA field hockey programs in the area. Moravian’s state-of-the-art facilities provide the perfect environment for campers to develop their skills. This summer, join us for a fun camp experience that focuses on improving your field hockey skills, under the leadership of Sarah Dalrymple, Moravian Head Coach.
The camp is open to all ages and ability levels. Each participant will be assessed and grouped with others of a similar age and skill level. Adjustments to groups may be made throughout the week to ensure campers have the opportunity to train with and compete against different players. Through a mix of drills, games, and scrimmages, each camper will have the chance to learn, improve, and enjoy field hockey in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Camp Director
Sarah Dalrymple was named Head Field Hockey Coach at Moravian University in February 2020. Since then, she has led the Greyhounds to a 39-34 overall record, including a 21-11 mark in Landmark Conference play. Under her leadership, Moravian has made four straight Landmark Conference Tournament appearances, highlighted by the program’s first-ever trip to the championship match in 2022 and a historic postseason run in 2021—their first in 34 years. That same season, the team set program records for wins, goals, assists, and points, and earned its first NCAA Regional Ranking.
Dalrymple has developed several standout players, including a Landmark Conference Offensive Player of the Year, nine First Team All-Conference honorees, and multiple NFHCA All-Region selections. Her teams have also excelled in the classroom, earning three NFHCA Team Academic Awards and producing over 60 NFHCA National Academic Squad honorees.
Off the field, Dalrymple contributes to Moravian’s Athletics Mental Health Committee and oversees site supervision for softball. She previously coached at Lafayette College, Hofstra University, and Longwood University, and works with USA Field Hockey’s Nexus Program and Junior High Performance teams, specializing in goalkeeping.
A Hanover, Pennsylvania native, Dalrymple played five seasons at Temple University, serving as a two-time captain and earning multiple regional and national honors. She also competed with the USA National Indoor Team and Development Squad, and holds Level II USA Field Hockey and FIH Level I coaching certifications. Dalrymple has directed Revolution camps for 5+ years.
