If you live in New England and are interested in improving your field hockey skills this summer, then we’ve got lots of great Massachusetts field hockey camps to choose from in 2024.
Our camp directors at each location are among some of the brightest minds in the game today. They come from a variety of backgrounds that include national teams, top NCAA programs, and other elite institutions. They have their own ideas on how to provide a uniquely valuable experience on and off the field for campers each summer. We empower than to bring that uniqueness with them to help create an unforgettable experience for everyone in attendance.
So, while there will be slight differences in the camp curriculum, you can generally expect the following for field players:
- Ball control
- Passing and receiving
- Goal scoring
- 3D skills
- Footwork and Conditioning
- Defensive positioning
- Team play and strategy
- Tackling
- Off-ball movement
- Positioning
- Special situations
If you’re a goalie, you’re in luck because each Revolution Field Hockey camp offers specialized goalkeeper instructions. They include the following:
- Clearing and accuracy
- Angels
- Diving and stacking
- Communication
- Recovery
- Footwork
- Strokes
- Agility
- Glove and pad work
- Kicking, jabbing, cross-overs, lunge, etc.
