4 Best Field Hockey Camps in Pennsylvania for 2024
If you’re curious as to where the best field hockey camps in Pennsylvania are located for the summer of 2024, then you’re in the right place. Revolution Field Hockey Camps is proud to be operating in four different locations this year with a variety of formats available for varying camper needs.
As you’ll see below, one location offers a day camp, while the three other locations have extended day and overnight offerings available. The biggest difference between these three offerings is the timing. Day camps typically run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., while extended-day camps usually go from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Obviously, overnight camps have those in attendance on campus from the first day through the last day of the experience.
If you’re planning on attending a Revolution Field Hockey Camp this summer, what kind of things should you be packing so you’re fully prepared? It’ll depend on the type of camp you’re attending.
For those attending day and extended-day camps, you should bring the following:
- Field hockey stick
- Shin guards
- Two mouthpieces
- Goggles (recommended)
- Pads, kickers, gloves, and helmets for goalies
- Cleats, turf shoes, or running shoes
- Sunscreen
- Athletic socks
- T-shirts, tanks, shorts
If you’re planning on joining us for an overnight camp, you’ll also want to pack the following:
- Bedding (pillow and case, twin XL sheets)
- Fans (when there’s no air conditioning in the dorms)
- Off-field clothes
- Flip flops
- Toiletries
- Shower towel
- Some kind of alarm clock (if you don’t use your phone)
These are just suggestions based on our experience running these camps for many years. It’s helpful to have a beginning list if you haven’t done this before and are unsure what you might need during a day of camp. Nobody knows you better than yourself, so be sure to make a special list of what you think you might need.
