OVERVIEW

The College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio, offers a well-equipped environment to hone in on your field hockey skills, particularly due to its excellent athletic facilities. The campus features state-of-the-art venues for a variety of sports. With its beautiful campus and top-notch amenities, the College of Wooster is an ideal location camp. Join The College of Wooster’s coaching staff in this epic camp!

The camp is open to all ages and ability levels. Each participant will be assessed and grouped with others of a similar age and skill level. Adjustments to groups may be made throughout the week to ensure campers have the opportunity to train with and compete against different players. Through a mix of drills, games, and scrimmages, each camper will have the chance to learn, improve, and enjoy field hockey in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Lauren Voigt, who coached field hockey at Elizabethtown College (Pennsylvania) for 11 seasons, joined The College of Wooster as its head field hockey coach on August 12, 2024.

Voigt, who earned a promotion to head coach in 2023, was part of a staff that went 65-44 over her 11 seasons. She helped Elizabethtown to its first Landmark Conference championship in 2016 and an appearance in the NCAA Div. III Championship tournament. Overall, Elizabethtown competed in three conference championship games during Voigt’s tenure. Individually, seven Blue Jays earned National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-Region laurels and 38 earned all-conference certificates. Academically, two were voted Landmark Conference Senior Scholar-Athletes.

In addition to her work with Elizabethtown’s field hockey team, Voigt was an assistant women’s lacrosse coach for five seasons and gained coaching and athletic event management experience at Milton Hershey School.

As a student-athlete, Voigt was part of Messiah’s powerhouse program, which was the national runner-up her junior and senior seasons. The four-time Commonwealth Conference champion set career-highs in goals (five), assists (two), and points (12) as a sophomore.

Voigt graduated from Messiah with a degree in health and exercise science and holds a level one coaching certification from USA Field Hockey.

At Revolution Field Hockey Camps you’ll receive personalized field hockey training through an exceptional curriculum, tailored to all age groups and skill levels. Our goal is to help players of all abilities enhance every aspect of their game. Our camps emphasize individual skill development while incorporating drills and scrimmages to foster teamwork and strategy.

Key features of our field hockey staff include: Low camper-to-coach ratios; groups organized by age and skill level and a fun, energetic, and experienced coaching team.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT

Overnight Campers: Check in at 12PM-1PM Monday. Campers should be picked up at Noon Thursday.

Extended Day Campers: Check in at 12PM-1PM Monday (8:45AM every other day). Campers should be picked up at 8:30PM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and at Noon Thursday. (Lunch and dinner are included)

What to Bring to Camp

Below is a suggested list of items to bring to camp. We recommend that campers avoid bringing expensive personal items such as cell phones or laptops. Campers are permitted to bring cell phones to camp for contacting their guardians, but phones are not allowed on the field during training sessions. Please make sure to label all items you bring to camp. All personal belongings are the responsibility of the camper. Revolution Field Hockey and its camp staff are not responsible for lost, stolen, or forgotten items.
