Camp Director
Jenny is a proven recruiter, winner and an experienced head coach who has found success in her short time at division three.
Carr comes to FDU-Florham after spending six seasons as the Head Field Hockey Coach at Ramapo College where she saw plenty of success. In 2021, she guided the Roadrunners to their first NJAC postseason appearance and won the ECAC Championship in their most successful season in program history that ended with 15 wins. From the start of her time there to the end of her tenure, she increased the teams goal production by 430%.
Before her first Head Coaching position, she spent one season as the First Assistant Coach at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. There she helped guide the Lynx to a Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Championship after an undefeated conference slate and secured the field hockey team a spot in the NCAA Tournament. As the First Assistant Coach, she oversaw all team film responsibilities, came up with weekly evaluations for all players to help them improve and build confidence and was extremely active in the recruitment process and academic guidance.
Carr’s first year of coaching collegiate field hockey was as a graduate assistant at Frostburg State, where she spent two seasons. During her time at Frostburg, she developed and administered drills to advance players’ technical skills and strategy that adhered to the team philosophy. She also orchestrated individual sessions, administered academic meetings and participated in the entire recruitment process for the field hockey program.
Jenny is also active on the field hockey club scene as she is one of the head coaches of the Falcon Athletics Field Hockey Club Team. As a Head Coach for the Falcons Athletics Field Hockey Club Team, she has helped over 40 club athletes commit and play collegiate field hockey. She also works tirelessly training individual athletes and small group and most recently, ran the Revolution Field Hockey Camps at Mahwah and Drew University.
Carr was a four-year varsity letterwinner for the Montclair State field hockey team. During her playing career, she became an NFHCA All-American, two-time NFHCA South Atlantic First Team All-Region, NJAC Midfielder of the Year, three-time First Team All-NJAC and four-time NFHCA Division III Academic Squad. She helped guide the Red Hawks to two NJAC Championships, three NCAA Tournament appearances and to the National Championship game in 2012. Carr also ranks third in career points in Montclair State program history.

CAMP REVIEWS
“My daughter was super happy at this camp right from the first day. She texted me updates throughout saying she had made new friends, received fun camp prizes, and that she got along well with her roommate who she didn’t know before camp. It sounds like they plan on being roommates at this camp next year now!!”
Delanie S.
“My time at this camp was great. I made many friends and loved the meals I ate too. The coaches stayed after lunch with me to help me with my stick skills, which really showed that they cared about me. I loved this camp, I will be back again next year!”
Mikayla G.
“I cannot even believe how crazy my child improved after just two days of camp. I loved how easy it was to register my child and to check her in as well. We will definitely be back next year Revolution!”
