Danielle Ryder Head Coach - Bates College

Danielle Ryder joined Bates College as the Head Coach in August 2013. Prior to Bates, Dani was the head coach at University of New England. She also spent two seasons as Assistant Coach with University of Vermont and two with Tufts University. In her first season with the UNE Nor’Easters, Coach Ryder led the team to an 18 - 4 season record, the best in school history. The Nor'Easters earned a Top 20 National Ranking, which was a first for any team in the conference (TCCC). Dani's efforts were recognized by the TCCC and she was named Coach of the year.

Coach Ryder was a 4-year varsity starting goalkeeper for Stonehill College. She holds the record for most saves in a season, as well as for a career at Stonehill. She was also the top goaltender in the NE-10 Conference two years in a row, 2006 and 2007. She led the league in shutouts, and totaled 28 career shutouts, the best in school history. Dani was awarded All-Academic, All-Conference and North/South Senior All-Star Team honors.

My daughter received exceptional training at this field hockey camp.  She was able to stay in the dorms and bond with the other players, which she loved.  Overall great experience that we would recommend to anyone.

The coaches and staff were amazing.  I learned more during this week than I did last season.  Thank you Revolution!
